This new painting, "Winter Pool", was inspired by hot springs at Yellowstone National Park. We took a trip there two winters ago and I was mesmerized by the amazing color of the pools. I've donated it to "Art on the Vine", an upcoming auction at the Oregon College of Art and Craft.
A beautiful landscape and "reflection" in the pool... perhaps portraying you and your family, as may the three trees. Your sense of color, shape and composition has been a gorgeous and constantly evolving thread throughout the years I have known and admired you.
